Shekor is a blend of artistry and passion. It is a journey through time and terrain, where precious ingredients meet poetic inspiration, and every bottle becomes a vessel of emotion.

Ashar: The first drop of monsoon rain on parched earth. The scent of wet soil, blooming flowers, and the promise of renewal. A fragrance that captures the magic of the rainy season.

Sylhet: The tranquil beauty of Sylhet’s tea gardens, where the air is filled with the aroma of freshly plucked tea leaves, citrusy Shatkora, the earthy richness of oud and lots of green.

Dacca: The grandeur of Old Dhaka, where history whispers through every alleyway. A fragrance that evokes the opulence of a bygone era with notes of saffron, sandalwood, and spices. (Tentative release in 2026)

Flag 1971: (A Fragrance of Freedom and Pride) This fragrance is a celebration of the nation’s resilience, unity, and the vibrant colors of its flag—green for the lush landscapes and red for the blood shed by freedom fighters. It is a scent that evokes pride, hope, and the enduring legacy of a nation’s struggle for independence. (Tentative release in 2026)

The Journey of Creation

It all began with a spark of inspiration in 2022—a conversation between two visionaries. Antonio Gardoni, the master perfumer behind the iconic Bogue Profumo, and Abedin, a creative director with a deep love for his homeland, Bangladesh and perfume. Antonio had an idea: to create a single, extraordinary fragrance that would capture the essence of Bangladesh.

What started as a single composition under Antonio’s brand soon grew into something much bigger. As Abedin and Antonio delved deeper into the project, they realized that Bangladesh’s beauty was too vast, too rich, to be contained in just one fragrance. The idea evolved, and the dream of a single perfume blossomed into the vision of an entire brand—a brand that would celebrate Bangladesh in all its diversity and splendor.

To bring this vision to life, Abedin knew he needed another master—someone who could bring an unique perspective and unparalleled artistry to the project. In 2023, they found that in Sultan Pasha, a perfumer of Bangladeshi roots whose work is celebrated for its depth, complexity, and emotional resonance.

Together, the trio embarked on a creative journey unlike any other. Both the fragrances they have created was a labor of love, a tribute to the beauty and spirit of Bangladesh. Antonio’s expertise in blending resins and natural ingredients, combined with Sultan’s poetic approach to perfumery, resulted in a collection of scents that are as unique and captivating as the land that inspired them.

And so, Shekor was born.

All the compositions are the culmination of the vision, a testament to the power of collaboration, creativity, and love for one’s homeland. Every bottle of SHEKOR is meticulously crafted in Spain and Italy, using the finest materials and traditional techniques.
