Pitti Fragranze 2025: A Celebration of Scent

The latest releases from Sultan Pasha for his own house, Sultan Pasha Perfumes, are truly impressive, and I will devote a separate piece to them. For now, I want to present his work for Shekor – Ashar.
Ashar is a lyrical composition that weaves together shades of summer greenery, raindrops, and gentle citrus. The fragrance is airy and translucent yet layered and complex. It opens with the exotic note of kadamba – a plant I have never encountered before, but after experiencing Ashar, I long to encounter its unusual orange ball-like blossoms.
Imagine damp air, droplets of water on tangerine peel, a cup of green tea in a bamboo grove, the lactonic-powdery softness of rice, and a barely perceptible hint of animalic note that lends the fragrance a quiet sensuality – Ashar conveys both freshness and comfort. The perfect summer perfume.
